I’m a music journalist and PR professional with over 20 years of experience in metal journalism, artist promotion, and the record industry.
I’m the founder and editor of AFRICA.ROCKS. In the past, I wrote for publications including Terrorizer, Metal Hammer Portugal, Ultraje, Guitarrista, and Bass Empire, and held editorial roles at some of them.
Metal PR Africa is where I handle PR campaigns focused on African media, promoters, and festivals.
What drives this?
After years in music journalism and PR, I saw the same gap again and again: Africa was rarely part of the conversation when international campaigns were being planned.

The aim is to help bands from outside the continent reach African media, promoters, festivals, and listeners in a way that is clear, targeted, and useful.

Our current network includes English-language media platforms across Africa, with coverage through a pan-African outlet and outlets based in Egypt, Algeria, and Botswana, alongside direct contact with promoters.
